Do not abandon us in the land of exile, but bring us to the heavenly Jerusalem chanting your praise; through Jesus Christ our Lord.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p class=\"western\"><sup>1<\/sup>By the rivers of Babylon, there we sat down, yea, we wept, when we remembered Zion.<\/p>\n<p class=\"western\"><sup>2<\/sup>We hanged our harps upon the willows in the midst thereof.<\/p>\n<p class=\"western\"><sup>3<\/sup>For there they that carried us away captive required of us a song; and they that wasted us required of us mirth, saying, Sing us one of the songs of Zion.<\/p>\n<p class=\"western\"><sup>4<\/sup>How shall we sing the LORD\u2019s song in a strange land?<\/p>\n<p class=\"western\"><sup>5<\/sup>If I forget thee, O Jerusalem, let my right hand forget her cunning.<\/p>\n<p class=\"western\"><sup>6<\/sup>If I do not remember thee, let my tongue cleave to the roof of my mouth; if I prefer not Jerusalem above my chief joy.<\/p>\n<p class=\"western\"><sup>7<\/sup>Remember, O LORD, the children of Edom in the day of Jerusalem; who said, Rase it, rase it, even to the foundation thereof.<\/p>\n<p class=\"western\"><sup>8<\/sup>O daughter of Babylon, who art to be destroyed; happy shall he be, that rewardeth thee as thou hast served us.<\/p>\n<p class=\"western\"><sup>9<\/sup>Happy shall he be, that taketh and dasheth thy little ones against the stones.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>LBW Psalm Prayer: Heavenly Father, you willed to make us citizens of your country and singers of your mercy.
