{"id":309,"date":"2016-08-04T18:18:10","date_gmt":"2016-08-04T22:18:10","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.immanuelnyc.org\/psalms\/?page_id=309"},"modified":"2016-08-04T18:18:10","modified_gmt":"2016-08-04T22:18:10","slug":"psalm-90-kjv","status":"publish","type":"page","link":"https:\/\/www.immanuelnyc.org\/psalms\/psalm-90-kjv\/","title":{"rendered":"Psalm 90, KJV"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"western\" align=\"center\">A Prayer of Moses the man of God.<\/p>\n<h4 class=\"western\">LBW Psalm Prayer:<\/h4>\n<p class=\"western\" style=\"padding-left: 30px;\">Eternal Father of our mortal race, in Jesus Christ your grace has come upon us: For his sake, prosper the work of our hands until he returns to gladden our hearts forever.<\/p>\n<hr \/>\n<p class=\"western\"><sup>1<\/sup>LORD, thou hast been our dwelling place in all generations.<\/p>\n<p class=\"western\"><sup>2<\/sup>Before the mountains were brought forth, or ever thou hadst formed the earth and the world, even from everlasting to everlasting, thou art God.<\/p>\n<p class=\"western\"><sup>3<\/sup>Thou turnest man to destruction; and sayest, Return, ye children of men.<\/p>\n<p class=\"western\"><sup>4<\/sup>For a thousand years in thy sight are but as yesterday when it is past, and as a watch in the night.<\/p>\n<p class=\"western\"><sup>5<\/sup>Thou carriest them away as with a flood; they are as a sleep: in the morning they are like grass which groweth up.<\/p>\n<p class=\"western\"><sup>6<\/sup>In the morning it flourisheth, and groweth up; in the evening it is cut down, and withereth.<\/p>\n<p class=\"western\"><sup>7<\/sup>For we are consumed by thine anger, and by thy wrath are we troubled.<\/p>\n<p class=\"western\"><sup>8<\/sup>Thou hast set our iniquities before thee, our secret sins in the light of thy countenance.<\/p>\n<p class=\"western\"><sup>9<\/sup>For all our days are passed away in thy wrath: we spend our years as a tale that is told.<\/p>\n<p class=\"western\"><sup>10<\/sup>The days of our years are threescore years and ten; and if by reason of strength they be fourscore years, yet is their strength labour and sorrow; for it is soon cut off, and we fly away.<\/p>\n<p class=\"western\"><sup>11<\/sup>Who knoweth the power of thine anger? even according to thy fear, so is thy wrath.<\/p>\n<p class=\"western\"><sup>12<\/sup>So teach us to number our days, that we may apply our hearts unto wisdom.<\/p>\n<p class=\"western\"><sup>13<\/sup>Return, O LORD, how long? and let it repent thee concerning thy servants.<\/p>\n<p class=\"western\"><sup>14<\/sup>O satisfy us early with thy mercy; that we may rejoice and be glad all our days.<\/p>\n<p class=\"western\"><sup>15<\/sup>Make us glad according to the days wherein thou hast afflicted us, and the years wherein we have seen evil.<\/p>\n<p class=\"western\"><sup>16<\/sup>Let thy work appear unto thy servants, and thy glory unto their children.<\/p>\n<p class=\"western\"><sup>17<\/sup>And let the beauty of the LORD our God be upon us: and establish thou the work of our hands upon us; yea, the work of our hands establish thou it.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>A Prayer of Moses the man of God.
