To the chief Musician, A Psalm of David.<\/p>\n

LBW Psalm Prayer:<\/h4>\n

Lord Jesus, healer of soul and body, you said, \u201cBlessed are the merciful, for they shall obtain mercy.\u201d Teach us to come to the aid of the needy in a spirit of love, as we have been received and strengthened by you; and to you be the glory and praise now and forever. Amen.<\/p>\n

1<\/sup>Blessed is he that considereth the poor: the LORD will deliver him in time of trouble.<\/p>\n

2<\/sup>The LORD will preserve him, and keep him alive; and he shall be blessed upon the earth: and thou wilt not deliver him unto the will of his enemies.<\/p>\n

3<\/sup>The LORD will strengthen him upon the bed of languishing: thou wilt make all his bed in his sickness.<\/p>\n

4<\/sup>I said, LORD, be merciful unto me: heal my soul; for I have sinned against thee.<\/p>\n

5<\/sup>Mine enemies speak evil of me, When shall he die, and his name perish?<\/p>\n

6<\/sup>And if he come to see me, he speaketh vanity: his heart gathereth iniquity to itself; when he goeth abroad, he telleth it.<\/p>\n

7<\/sup>All that hate me whisper together against me: against me do they devise my hurt.<\/p>\n

8<\/sup>An evil disease, say they, cleaveth fast unto him: and now that he lieth he shall rise up no more.<\/p>\n

9<\/sup>Yea, mine own familiar friend, in whom I trusted, which did eat of my bread, hath lifted up his heel against me.<\/p>\n

10<\/sup>But thou, O LORD, be merciful unto me, and raise me up, that I may requite them.<\/p>\n

11<\/sup>By this I know that thou favourest me, because mine enemy doth not triumph over me.<\/p>\n

12<\/sup>And as for me, thou upholdest me in mine integrity, and settest me before thy face for ever.<\/p>\n

13<\/sup>Blessed be the LORD God of Israel from everlasting, and to everlasting. Amen, and Amen.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
