A-bim\u2019-e-lech; who drove him away, and he departed.<\/p>\n
Lord, graciously hear us, for we seek you alone. Calm our bodies and minds with the peace which passes understanding, and make us radiant with joy; through your Son, Jesus Christ our Lord.<\/p>\n
1<\/sup>I will bless the LORD at all times: his praise shall continually be in my mouth.<\/p>\n 2<\/sup>My soul shall make her boast in the LORD: the humble shall hear thereof, and be glad.<\/p>\n 3<\/sup>O magnify the LORD with me, and let us exalt his name together.<\/p>\n 4<\/sup>I sought the LORD, and he heard me, and delivered me from all my fears.<\/p>\n 5<\/sup>They looked unto him, and were lightened: and their faces were not ashamed.<\/p>\n 6<\/sup>This poor man cried, and the LORD heard him, and saved him out of all his troubles.<\/p>\n 7<\/sup>The angel of the LORD encampeth round about them that fear him, and delivereth them.<\/p>\n 8<\/sup>O taste and see that the LORD is good: blessed is the man that trusteth in him.<\/p>\n 9<\/sup>O fear the LORD, ye his saints: for there is no want to them that fear him.<\/p>\n 10<\/sup>The young lions do lack, and suffer hunger: but they that seek the LORD shall not want any good thing.<\/p>\n 11<\/sup>Come, ye children, hearken unto me: I will teach you the fear of the LORD.<\/p>\n 12<\/sup>What man is he that desireth life, and loveth many days, that he may see good?<\/p>\n 13<\/sup>Keep thy tongue from evil, and thy lips from speaking guile.<\/p>\n 14<\/sup>Depart from evil, and do good; seek peace, and pursue it.<\/p>\n 15<\/sup>The eyes of the LORD are upon the righteous, and his ears are open unto their cry.<\/p>\n 16<\/sup>The face of the LORD is against them that do evil, to cut off the remembrance of them from the earth.<\/p>\n 17<\/sup>The righteous cry, and the LORD heareth, and delivereth them out of all their troubles.<\/p>\n 18<\/sup>The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.<\/p>\n 19<\/sup>Many are the afflictions of the righteous: but the LORD delivereth him out of them all.<\/p>\n 20<\/sup>He keepeth all his bones: not one of them is broken.<\/p>\n 21<\/sup>Evil shall slay the wicked: and they that hate the righteous shall be desolate.<\/p>\n 22<\/sup>The LORD redeemeth the soul of his servants: and none of them that trust in him shall be desolate.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":" A Psalm of David, when he changed his behaviour before A-bim\u2019-e-lech; who drove him away, and he departed.
