Worship Changes Because of Roof Construction
✠ Our main Sunday liturgy, 11 a.m., takes place in our undercroft for the next few months.
Please use the red door at street-level on 88th St., nearest to the corner, to enter the church undercroft for these liturgies.
✠ Our 6:30 p.m. Wednesday evening liturgy will shift to the Martin Luther Room, located in the church office at 122 East 88th St, two doors to the right of the church steps.
✠ Monday Morning Devotions are suspended while the nave is unavailable.
Enjoying the Great Tradition
We have chosen the title "Enjoying the Great Tradition" to unify our website and to get at what is particularly important to us here at Immanuel. The notion of enjoying the tradition is meant to get at the ancient Christian conviction that the Gospel is good news. The news that Jesus of Nazareth is risen and is in charge of things is the best news this world has ever known.
